Hood College President Announces Resignation

She will step down at the end of her current contract.

Frederick, Md. (BW) – The President of Hood College announced her plans to resign at the end of the school year in an email to students.

President Andrea Chapdelaine sent an email to students on Thursday, Mar 28 at 9 a.m.

She said in the email that she will become the next President of Connecticut College.

Chapdelaine accepted a five year contract extention earlier this year, but decided to leave after her current contract ends on June 30.

She was the Hood President for five years, succeeding former President Ronald Volpe.
