One was in critical condition.
Silver Spring, Md (KM) A crash Sunday night in Montgomery County sent two people to the hospital.
Fire and Rescue spokesman Pete Priniger says emergency personnel were dispatched at 8:20 PM to University Boulevard and Wayne Avenue in Silver Spring. They found two vehicles were involved; one struck a tree.
Medics evaluated patients who had injuries. One was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries; a second was taken to the hospital with critical, life threatening injuries. Both were in the same vehicle.
The occupants of the second vehicle were not injured and refused transport.
Several lanes in that area were blocked for a time.
