Fire Destroys Barn In Jefferson

No one was reported inured.    Photos from barn fire in Jefferson  (Courtesy of Frederick County Fire & Rescue)Jefferson, Md (KM) No injuries were reported from a barn fire in Jefferson on Sunday.At 11:25 AM, fire fighters were dispatched to the 5900 block of Poole Road and found a 40-foot by 60-foot structure fully involved in flames. Fire and rescue officials say all occupants got out safely, and a tanker task force was established to shuttle water to the scene.The fire was brought under control by 11:34 AM, but personnel searched for hot spots The fire was declared extinguished by 12:02 PM.All fire and rescue units and personnel cleared the scene by 12:30 PM.By Kevin McManus
