An investigation into the incident is underway.

Frostburg, Md (KM) The Maryland State Fire Marshal’s Office and officials in Allegany County are investigating a fatal fire on Sunday.
At around 3:45 AM, fire fighters were dispatched to a three-alarm house fire at 210 Welsh Hill Road in Frostburg . It took 60 fire fighters 15-minutes to bring the flames under control.
After the fire was extinguished, fire fighters entered the single-family home and found a deceased individual. That person’s body was taken to the State Medical Examiner’s Office to determine a cause of death, and that individual’s identity.
The Fire Marshal’s Office says its investigators say the fire originated in a basement garage, but the cause has not been determined.
Officials say two occupants escaped from the burning home safely, but the victim may have gone back inside after getting out.
“Our hearts are with the Frostburg community after a tough {Sunday} morning,” said Acting State Fire Marshal Jason Mowbray, in a statement. “This is another tragic reminder to check your smoke alarms. have an escape plan, and once you and your loved ones get out, stay out.
Investigators say they have not determined if smoke alarms were in the home at the time of the fire.
