Pa. Man Shot And Killed In Hagerstown

A suspect has been taken into custody.(Hagerstown, Md) A suspect has been charged for a homicide in Hagerstown. Brian Anthony Stuart. 24. of Hagerstown turned himself in at 2:00 AM on Friday. He is charged with 1st- and 2nd-degree murder, 1st-and second-degree assault, reckless endangerment and several handgun violations.He’s being held at the Washington County Detention Center.Hagerstown Police say on Thursday at 11:00 PM, officers responded to the 300 block of North Jonathan Street for a shooting. The victim identified as Tyrone Earl Nelson, 45, of Waynesboro, Pennsylvania, was transported to Meritus Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.Authorities say the shooting was the result of a dispute between the victim and the suspect who knew each other.Detectives and the Western Maryland Regional Crime Lab responded to the scene.By Kevin McManus
