Hagerstown, Md (KM) A Hagerstown man has been charged with drug and weapons offenses. Ronald Abdual Armstead, 43, was arrested early Tuesday morning following a traffic stop.
Hagerstown Police say they conducted the stop in the 100 block West Washington Street after they saw suspicious activity on the part of the driver.
During a search of Armstead’s vehicle, officers found two handguns, 40 vials of suspected fentanyl and some cash. Authorities say Armstead is prohibited from possessing firearms due to previous felony convictions.
Armstead was arrested, and charged with firearms and drug offenses, including possession with intent to distribute. .He’s being held without bond at the Washington County Detention Center.
