Frederick County Grand Jury Hands Down Six Indictments, One Superseding Indictment

One is against a Va  man .for online sexual solicitation.

Frederick, Md (KM) The Frederick County Grand Jury returned six indictments and one superseding indictment on Friday.

One of those indicated was David Clay Murray, 48, of Fairfax, Virginia. He is charged with five counts of sexual solicitation of a minor.

Murray  was arrested on Friday, August 9th, 2024 in Fairfax, Virginia on a warrant from the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office. . Authorities say Murray began online contact with an undercover detective posing as a 15-year-old girl.  He engaged in sexual conversations with this “juvenile”, soliciting numerous sex acts. The Sheriff’s Office said the undercover detective told Murray numerous times he was speaking with a 15-year-old girl, but he continued his conversations. .

Bryant Allen Paradine, 30, of LIttlestown, Pennsylvania was indicted for attempted 1st-degree murder; attempted 2nd-degree murder; 1st-degree assault; use of a firearm in a violent crime; magazine use of ten rounds or more; having a loaded handgun on his person; having a loaded handgun in a vehicle; having a handgun in a vehicle; reckless endangerment from a motor vehicle.

Paradine was arrested on August 14th, 2024 for a road rage incident along Route 15 and Tippin Drive in Thurmont where shots were fired. No one was hurt.

Other indictment handed down by the Grand Jury:

*Toen Jackson, 33, of Frederick, who is charged with possession with intent to distribute and possession of methamphetamine; possession of Alprazolam; and possession of paraphernalia (Methamphetamine Pipes and Smudgers) for an offense which occurred on May 23rd, 2024.

*Facundo R. Romero-Lopez, 19, of Frederick, who is charged with robbery, 2nd-degree assault and theft less than $100 for an offense which occurred on August 8th, 2024.

*YAMIL Abdol Kaer, 31, of Frederick, who is charged with attempted 2nd-degree rape; 4th degree sex offenses with contact; 2nd degree assault, and two counts of violating a protective order for offenses which occurred on June 2nd and 3rd, 2024

*A superseding indictment was issued against Elyjah Leigh Yoho, 40, of Greencastle, Pa., who is charged with 2nd-degree assault; and sex abuse of a minor for an offense which occurred on October 9th,2023.

These indictments move these cases to Circuit Court where trial dates will be scheduled..

The Frederick County State’s Attorney’s Office says indictments are charging documents alleging criminal conduct, and all defendants are innocent until proven guilty.
