Frederick, Md (KM) The identity of a fourth person involved in a traffic stop last week in Frederick resulting in three charged and guns being confiscated remains a mystery, and the Frederick Police want to know who he is.
Authorities say officers initiated the stop at 12:15 PM on Thursday, August 22nd along Madison Street and Carrollton Street. Despite the activation of lights and sirens by police cruisers, the vehicle kept moving. The driver drove the vehicle to the area of Logan Street near Sherman Avenue before stopping. The driver, identified as Anthony Lee Ferguson, 19, was detained.
A. detective sergeant saw a 17-year-old acting like he was armed, The youth was also detained. Police say three discarded handguns and a fourth nearby were recovered. The teenager was taken to the Frederick County Adult Detention Center where he was charged as an adult.
A third person in the vehicle, Daeante Xavier Sewell, 22, was located hiding in a backyard. He was issued a criminal citation for 4th degree burglary as he did not have the owner’s permission to be on the property.
Authorities say they continue looking for the 4th suspect. Anyone who has information on this individual, especially his whereabouts, is asked to contact Frederick Police.
