Montgomery County Police Investigate 13th Street Fatal Shooting

Officers find victim suffering from gunshot wounds.Gaithersburg, MD– A 34-year-old man has died following a shooting in Silver Spring, on Monday, September 2, 2024.At approximately 9:42 a.m., Montgomery County Department of Police – 3rd District officers and Montgomery County Fire Rescue personnel responded to the 8000 block of 13th St., Silver Spring, for the report of one-down.Upon arrival, officers located Jamar Emmanuel Jenifer, of Washington, D.C., in an alley suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
