It’s open to young people from K through 12th grade
Frederick, Md (KM) If you’re a young person in grades K through 12, and you have an idea to grow or start a business, you can take part in Frederick City’s first ever “Junior Entrepreneur Pitch Competition.” It will be held on Tuesday, October 29th from 5:30 PM until 8:30 PM at the Spires Arts Stages at 15 West Patrick Street.
The city says it’s an opportunity for young people to showcase their ideas, practice public speaking and receive valuable feedback from judges. It’s also a chance for these young people to network with other young entrepreneurs and gain insights into the business world.
In a statement, Frederick Mayor Michael O’Connor expressed his enthusiasm for this initiative. “I am incredibly excited to see the Junior Entrepreneur Pitch Competition come to life in Frederick. This event represents a fantastic opportunity for our young residents to develop their entrepreneurial skills, gain confidence, and bring their innovative ideas to the forefront. Our city is committed to supporting the next generation of business leaders and look forward to seeing the creativity and talent on display,” Mayor O’Connor said in a statement.
