Accident killed a 43-year-old man and a 31-year-old womanFrederick, Md. (DG) – Tragedy struck in Frederick County on Saturday evening, February 15, when a two-vehicle crash claimed two lives. Around 6:38 p.m., sheriff’s deputies responded to the scene on Buckeystown Pike, just south of Adamstown Road.Authorities say 43-year-old James Henry Walker of Dickerson, Maryland, was driving a Toyota Camry southbound when he crossed the center line, colliding with a Hyundai Sonata driven by 31-year-old Caitlynn Nicole James of Frederick. Walker was pronounced dead at the scene, while James suffered life-threatening injuries and later died at the hospital.Investigators cite excessive speed, failure to stay in the correct lane, and Walker’s suspended license as contributing factors. The Frederick County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the crash.
