Photos from the New Market Volunteer Fire CompanyNew Market, Md (KM) One person was medivaced to Shock Trauma on Thursday afternoon following a vehicle crash.According to the Frederick Scanner Facebook page, fire and rescue crews were dispatched at 11:22 AM to Route 75 (Green Valley Road) and Darby Road north of New Market for a vehicle crash with ejection. Personnel arriving on the scene found a vehicle on its roof, and the occupant who had been thrown from the vehicle.A State Police Helicopter landed at the scene of the crash. The patient was stabilized by medics before being loaded into the helicopter.Route 75 in that area was shut down for a time while state troopers conducted their investigation.By Kevin McManus
