His case was turned over to the Department of Juvenile Services.Rockville, Md (KM) A 13-year-old boy is charged with making threats against a school.Montgomery County Police say on Monday, March 17th, 2025, Parkland Middle School in Rockville received phone calls from an individual who said he intended to carry out a mass shooting. Parkland Middle School initiated a shelter-in-place status as did nearby Brookhaven Elementary School.The Montgomery County Police Department’s Behavioral Assessment Unit identified the caller as a 13-year-boy who attended another middle school. . He is charged with threat of mass violence, and disruption of school activities..
