Frederick, Md (KM) A dangerous drug has been found in the area. The Frederick County Health Department says it’s called 5F-ADB.. but it also goes under the names of Spice and K2. It’s a synthetic cannabinoid.
Officials say it’s not safe and could cause serious harm or even death.
The drug often comes in bags with pictures of tigers and labels saying THC Diazy La Ruse, Pefur The Tiger. It can look like herbal incense or potpourri. .
The Health Department says people who use it can become unresponsive as if they are having an opioid overdose. If you see someone experiencing an overdose, you’re urged to administer NARCAN, if it’s available, and call 911..
