A Portion Of Friends Creek Road To Close Starting On July 14th

The closure will last two weeks, weather permitting.Frederick, Md (KM) Beginning on Monday, July 14th, a part of Friends Creek Road near Emmitsburg will be closed for two weeks. The Frederick County Department of Highway Operations says the closure will be near the sharp bend in front of 7301A.This will allow crews to replace a pipe and repair the pavement.The closure will remain in effect through the overnight hours.A signed detour will be put in place.By Kevin McManus
