Theft occurred on Tuesday, June 3rd, 2025, at about 1 PM.
Wheaton, MD (JK) -Montgomery County Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a woman wanted in connection with a theft and assault that occurred earlier this month in Wheaton.
According to investigators, the incident took place on June 3rd at a business located in the 11100 block of Veirs Mill Road. The woman entered the store, stole merchandise, and was approached as she attempted to leave. At that point, police say she pulled out a knife. It is unclear if anyone was injured during the encounter.
The suspect then left the scene in a black van. Police say she may have a tattoo on her inner left forearm.
