Baltimore Man Found Guilty In Homicide Trial In Frederick

Sentencing could take place in about  eight weeks.

Frederick, Md (KM) A Baltimore man who has been on trial for a homicide in Frederick County last year was convicted on Wednesday. Keon Naki Wilson-Hawkins, 21, was found guilty of 1st-degree premeditated murder, conspiracy to commit 1st-degree murder, kidnapping and carjacking.

He had been on trial in Frederick County Circuit Court  since last week for the murder of Brice Boots, 65, of Pikesville. The victim’s body was found inside an SUV parked in a field off of Crum Road in Walkersville in January, 2024.

The State’s Attorney’s Office says sentencing could take place in about eight weeks, but the final decision on when will be up to the Assignment Office.
