Man From Mt. Airy Arrested Following Serving Of A Search Warrant

Mark Brigham, 35, is charged with sexual abuse of a minor, 2nd-degree rape of a child under 14, 4th degree sex offense, possession of child pornography, sexual solicitation of a minor, child pornography(filming a sex act), indecent exposure to a minor, displaying obscene material to a minor and firearms possession with a felony conviction.He’s currently being held at the Frederick County Adult Detention Center without bond.The Sheriff’s Office says Brigham’s arrest stemmed from an on going sex offense investigation. Detectives say they served a search warrant on his home in the 7500 block of Woodville Road. That’s where they found electronic devices, firearms, ammunition and other items.Authorities say this case remains under investigation, and anyone who has information which could help is asked to contact the Sheriff’s Office.
