Frederick, Md (KM) The location of the planned closure of Linganore Road scheduled for next week has changed.
The Frederick County Traffic and Permits Section says the closure will located near the intersection with Plantation Road. The closure will extend from a point just south of the intersection of Plantation Road and Linganore Road to just north of that intersection.
Anyone who wants to get on Plantation Road will need to approach from the south during the time of the closure.
The closure is scheduled to begin on or about Monday, October 27th, and last for about five weeks weather permitting.
This will allow a developer to construct a realignment of Linganore Road slightly northwest of the existing alignment. This is consistent with the approval plans for the Westridge subdivision.
Detour signs will be posted along Maryland Route 144, Old National Pike, Boyers Mill Road, Gas House Pike and Monocacy Boulevard.
