Gaithersburg, Md. (DG) – Authorities are investigating after two boys were stabbed Monday morning near Gaithersburg High School.
Montgomery County and Gaithersburg police responded around 11:40 a.m. to the 400 block of S. Frederick Avenue following reports of a stabbing. First responders found the two boys with lacerations and provided immediate assistance, joined by nearby citizens.
Both victims were transported to a hospital with critical but non-life-threatening injuries. Police have not released information about a possible suspect or motive, and the investigation remains active.
Officials are urging anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
