Frederick, Md. (DG) – Maryland State Police are investigating a fatal tractor-trailer crash that occurred Sunday morning in Frederick.
Authorities say the incident happened just after 8:20 a.m. on Route 15 near 7th Street. According to investigators, the truck veered off the roadway for unknown reasons before overturning.
The driver was killed in the crash, and no other injuries were reported. Rescue crews remained on the scene for several hours, prompting the closure of southbound Route 15 at 7th Street while officials conducted their investigation and removed the wreckage.
