Hanover, Pa. (DG) – A devastating barn fire in Adams County has left more than a dozen horses dead.
Officials say the fire broke out Sunday afternoon at Hanover Shoe Farms along Sells Station Road near Hanover Pike. According to the farm’s management, 14 horses were lost in what they’re calling a devastating fire.
No people were injured, and no outside horses were affected. Fire crews responded around 1:30 p.m., and the cause of the blaze is now under investigation.
