United States Secretary of War Pete Hegseth was in Colorado Springs to take in the Air Force Falcons and Navy Midshipmen football game, but he also took time to show off some pretty impressive athletic skills.
It turns out that the Secretary of War can ball, and he sank an impressive series of three-pointers.
Hegseth was on the Air Force Academy‘s court in Clune Arena when he uncorked ten three-point attempts from the top of the arc and drilled all but one of them.
TRUMP SAYS HE WILL ATTEND ALABAMA VS GEORGIA COLLEGE FOOTBALL GAME AT BRYANT-DENNY STADIUM
He must be an absolute menace in Pop-A-Shot down at Dave & Buster’s.
Imagine if international disputes were settled with three-point shooting competitions or games of Horse?
Every other nation would think twice when dealing with us, knowing that Sec. Hegseth can uncork a Caitlin Clark-like shot from the logo if he has to.
While he missed one, Sec. Hegseth clearly found a groove and was on autopilot through most of that impressive performance.
Of course, Hegseth was not there to show off his skills when it comes to shooting from range; he was at the Air Force Academy to speak to cadets ahead of the Falcons-Midshipmen game on Saturday afternoon.
Just before kickoff, the Secretary of War was down on the field for the coin toss.

Air Force wound up winning this one 14-9 to go 3-1 on the season.
They’ll visit Northern Illinois next weekend while the Midshipmen — who dropped to 1-3 — will head home to host Tulsa.
