With ESPN set to broadcast its first Super Bowl, its parent company is making yet another big move for the big game.
Along with ABC, which will air the game for the first time since Super Bowl XL in 2006, it was announced Wednesday that the game will be streamed on Disney+.
The streaming option means that Super Bowl LXI in Los Angeles will now be available in more than 55 international markets.

This will be the fourth consecutive year a Super Bowl will be available on a streaming service, beginning with Super Bowl LVIII, as the CBS broadcast was also available on Paramount+.
The following year’s Super Bowl was streamed on Tubi, owned by Fox, and last year’s NBC game was available on Peacock.
The Walt Disney Company also announced that two “Monday Night Football” games will be available through the service: a Philadelphia Eagles-Dallas Cowboys bout on Oct. 26 and a second game to be announced. Those games will still be available on ESPN and ABC.
ESPN was awarded this season’s game in 2021 as part of the NFL’s new media rights deal that added the network to the existing rotation of Fox, CBS and NBC.
The Super Bowl will be Joe Buck’s and Troy Aikman’s return to the booth for the NFL’s championship, last calling the game in 2020 when the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the San Francisco 49ers for Fox.
The game will be played on Valentine’s Day.
