The NFC West has been one of the better divisions in the country, with the Rams, Seahawks, 49ers, and even the Cardinals. Today the Seahawks and 49ers take each other on, and Fanatics is offering new users the promo code FOXNEWS350 so they can wager $20 and earn $350 in FanCash.
This game features quarterbacks with very different histories, but plenty of success between them. The 49ers drafted quarterback Brock Purdy with the last pick of the NFL Draft. Often called Mr. Irrelevant, Purdy has certainly made himself relevant to the team and around the league.
For the season, Purdy is 79-for-113 with 11 touchdown passes and one interception. He has averaged about 250 passing yards per game this season. With plenty of weapons at his disposal, Purdy has done a great job of getting everyone involved, throwing touchdowns to five different receivers.
On the other side of the field is Sam Darnold, a guy with a very different path than Purdy. Darnold was selected third overall by the Jets in 2018. He struggled for years before he went to the Minnesota Vikings, where his career was rejuvenated. Last year he led the Seahawks to the Super Bowl.
In his past two seasons, he has thrown 60 touchdowns. From 2018 until 2023, he threw a total of 63 touchdowns. This year is off to a decent start, even without the offensive coordinator who seemed to have turned his career around. He has six touchdown passes and 560 yards through three games (really more like two games, after he left the first game after two pass attempts).
This will be a battle between two strong quarterbacks. Purdy and Darnold will be at the forefront of the game tonight. Fanatics Sportsbook is offering new users a chance to wager on either, neither, or both this afternoon as the 49ers take on the Seahawks.
