INTRO: A family of barn owls have made a new home in New York City’s Central Park area, reviving the memory of a beloved owl who used to live there. Fox’s Carmen Roberts has the uplifting story.
ACK: Fox’s Carmen Roberts
TAG: There is concern for the owls’ safety. Bird watchers worry the family could eat rodents poisoned by rat bait – as Flaco (FLAH-ko) did. New Yorkers hope this owl family’s story has a much happier ending.
