INTRO: Ohio Republican gubernatorial candidate Vivek Ramaswamy (vih-VAKE rah-muh-SWAH-mee) is facing criticism following a campaign ad featuring the estranged mother of his Democratic challenger Doctor Amy Acton. Acton has been outspoken about sexual abuse she faced as a child under her mother’s care. While speaking to reporters … Cincinnati Mayor Aftab Pureval (AF-tab PURE-uh-vahl) said this isn’t the first jab of its kind that Ramaswamy has directed toward Acton:
ACK: Cincinnati Mayor Aftab Pureval (AF-tab PURE-uh-vahl)
TAG: This comes as Vice President J-D Vance … an Ohio native … traveled to the Buckeye State to campaign for Ramaswamy. The Real-Clear-Politics polling average currently places Acton ahead of Ramaswamy with less than three weeks ahead of the midterm elections.
