INTRO: The family of Alex Pretti, the Minnesota native and U-S citizen who was fatally shot by federal immigration agents back in January, holding a press conference on Tuesday for the first time since the shooting. An attorney for the family, Steve Schleicher, says they have repeatedly reached out to U-S Attorney General Todd Blanche and U-S Attorney for the District of Minnesota Daniel Rosen for information about the shooting and a possible investigation, but they have been denied for nine months. He calls their treatment of the family “cruel, and unprecedented.”
