INTRO: Texas will decide next week whether Texas Attorney General and Republican nominee Ken Paxton or Democratic nominee James Talarico (ta-luh-REE’-koh) will be the state’s next senator. Speaking at a rally in Corpus Christi, Texas, Tuesday … Paxton calls his opponent the “most radical Democrat” to run in the state.
ACK: Texas Attorney General and Republican Senate nominee Ken Paxton
TAG: Talarico has said he’s a “proud capitalist.” He has attacked Paxton for his past scandals … including when he was impeached by his own party over corruption accusations. Paxton was later acquitted by the Texas Senate. The latest Fox News Power Rankings consider the race for Texas’ Senate seat to be a toss-up … and could determine which party controls the Senate.
