Brewers vs Rays | Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2026, at 8:00 ET | Tropicana Field, St. Petersburg, FL | FOX
The Brewers and Rays will now meet for the fifth time, and the teams are both looking for different outcomes, but also have the same goal overall. The Brewers want to take the game and win the World Series. The Rays want to win the game just to extend the World Series.
Milwaukee looked vulnerable for the first time in the postseason, and it took 12 innings just to get them to a point where they didn’t have the upper-hand. The Brewer’s bullpen was lights out for six or seven innings last night, then they started to fall apart by giving up an error and four hits in a row to cost themselves the game.
The Rays finally looked like the Tampa team that won almost 100 games this season. They never got a big power hit; instead, they got multiple singles in a row to score two runs and take their first game of the series. They now need to ride that momentum into tonight’s game and hope they can get another win to keep the series going.
Will the Brewers regroup and leave Tampa with a party on the plane? Or will the Rays send the Brewers back to Milwaukee with a little bit of doubt in their heads? Fanatics Sportsbook is offering new users $350 in FanCash from a $20 wager when using promo code FOXNEWS350.
