INTRO: The U-S Senate race in Michigan is heating up between G-O-P candidate Mike Rogers and Democratic candidate Abdul El-Sayed. Democratic Congresswoman Haley Stevens initially supported her former primary opponent. But she urged Abdul El-Sayed to denounce an ad from a third party…that blamed Israel for high grocery prices. He didn’t and she has since endorsed his rival Mike Rogers. Senator Bernie Sanders (I) (Vermont) joins C-B-S’s “Face the Nation” to weigh in.
