Suspect Arrested In New York For Hagerstown Homicide

He’s also wanted for  failure to appear in court in WVManuel Ernest Gordon  (Photo from Hagerstown Police Department)Hagerstown, Md (KM) Hagerstown Police report a suspect in a homicide from 2024 has been located.    The US Marshals Service says Manuel Ernest Gordon, Jr. 33, was taken into custody on Thursday in Yonkers, New York.   He is awaiting extradition back to Maryland.Hagerstown Police say there is an active arrest warrant for Gordon who is a suspect in the murder of Rusty Mark Edwards on July 18th, 2024 in the area of 208 East Washington Street.He’s also wanted for failing to appear in court in Berkeley County, West Virginia on charges of cocaine and fentanyl distribution, according to the US Marshals Service. .By Kevin McManus
