Person With Medical Emergency Ties Up Traffic On I-70 In Braddock Heights

This individual was on the bridge taking Ridge Road over the interstate.Braddock Heights, Md (KM) Traffic was backed up in  both directions on  Interstate 70 in Braddock Heights on Wednesday afternoon.  An individual who was on the bridge taking Ridge Road over the Interstate was having a medical emergency.Police, fire and rescue personnel were dispatched to the scene at around 1:00 PM.   I-70 in both directions as well as the  Ridge Road bridge  were closed.The Frederick Scanner Facebook Page says that individual was declared safe and turned over to EMS personnel who took that person to an area hospital.Interstate 70 in both directions was reopened just before 2:00 PM.By Kevin McManus
