The Utica and Loy’s Station covered bridges will have portals installed that are similar to this one leading to the Roddy Road Covered Bridge.
Frederick, Md (KM) Height restriction portals will be installed at the Loys Station and Utica covered bridges during the month of April. The Frederick County Division of Public Works says the installation is expected to take two days at each bridge; and both bridges will be closed at those times from 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM weather permitting.Signed detours will be put in place.By Kevin McManus
