Frederick, Md. (DG) – Frederick Police Department have charged a man in connection with a string of residential and commercial burglaries reported over the past several months.
Investigators say the incidents began October 28th with a break-in at a home in the first block of East Second Street, where cash and gift cards were stolen. On November 16th, a restaurant in the 200 block of North Market Street was burglarized after forced entry through a rear door, with cash and liquor taken.
Detectives later linked a January 20th burglary at a clothing store in the 100 block of North Market Street to the same suspect.
On February 6th, officers responded to a burglary in progress on Kline Boulevard. Police followed footprints in the snow and arrested Todd Alan Dixon hiding nearby.
Dixon now faces multiple burglary and theft charges and is being held at the Frederick County Adult Detention Center.
