House Damaged By Fire In Carroll County

State Fire Marshal’s Office)Sykesville, Md (KM) There were no injuries from a house fire Wednesday night in Carroll County.Just after 9:05 PM, fire fighters were dispatched to  5416 Mineral Hill Road in Sykesville for a two-story home on fire. They spent one hour bringing the flames under control.Investigators with the Maryland State Fire Marshal’s Office say damage is estimated at $600,000. They also say the fire originated in an exterior storage area.The cause remains under investigation.By Kevin McManus
