Frederick, Md. (DG) – Frederick Police have made an arrest months after a stabbing in the city’s downtown area.
The incident happened on November 13, 2025, when a victim suffered injuries and transported themselves to a local hospital. Police say the victim was conscious, alert, and later worked with investigators. After an extensive investigation that included witness interviews, evidence collection, and surveillance footage review, detectives identified 32-year-old Kyle Alonzo Eccleston of Hagerstown as the suspect.
On March 17, 2026, officers served an arrest warrant, taking Eccleston into custody. He is now facing charges of first-degree assault, second-degree assault, and reckless endangerment.
