Leesburg, Va. (DG) – A Leesburg man is facing multiple charges after an investigation into alleged online activity involving a minor.
Police say officers were called to a home along the 700 block of Balls Bluff Road Northeast Thursday afternoon, after an online group that targets suspected child predators identified a man in the area and confronted him at his residence.
Following that report, investigators launched an immediate inquiry that led to the arrest of 29-year-old Richard J. Solis of Leesburg.
Authorities say Solis is now charged with four counts of solicitation of a minor under the age of 15. He was taken to the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center, where he is being held without bond.
The investigation remains ongoing, and anyone with information is urged to contact the Leesburg Police Department.
