Hagerstown, MD (JK) – A late-night traffic stop tied to an ongoing narcotics investigation led to the seizure of significant amounts of cocaine and fentanyl in Hagerstown.
According to authorities, the Washington County Narcotics Task Force, assisted by the Hagerstown Police Department’s Crime Suppression Unit and K9 Unit, conducted the stop Tuesday night, April 14, in the area of West Wilson Boulevard and Summit Avenue.
Investigators reported recovering approximately 173.9 grams of cocaine and 15.9 grams of fentanyl. Officials said some of the fentanyl was packaged in 30 gelatin capsules.
Following the stop, 56-year-old Alexzander Kendricks of Hagerstown was arrested and transported to the Washington County Detention Center.
Kendricks faces multiple charges, including possession with intent to distribute fentanyl or heroin, possession of large amounts of controlled dangerous substances, and other related narcotics offenses.
The investigation remains ongoing.
