Hagerstown, MD (JK) – A coordinated narcotics investigation in Hagerstown resulted in the seizure of cocaine and the arrest of a local man earlier this week.
According to authorities, the Washington County Narcotics Task Force, assisted by multiple law enforcement agencies, executed a search and seizure warrant Monday, April 13, 2026, in the 500 block of Salem Avenue. The operation was part of an ongoing drug investigation.
During the search, investigators recovered approximately 81 grams of cocaine. Antwann Trippett, 46, of Hagerstown, was arrested at the scene and transported to the Washington County Detention Center. He is charged with possession with intent to distribute a narcotic and possession of a controlled dangerous substance.
The investigation involved assistance from the Washington County Special Response Team, Hagerstown Police Department, Washington County Sheriff’s Office, Maryland Department of Natural Resources, and Homeland Security.
Authorities say the investigation remains active.
