Maryland State Police say a seventh suspect has now been arrested in connection with a triple murder and suspicious house fire that happened in Washington County last November. Authorities announced that 20-year-old Jordan Robey of Hagerstown was taken into custody May 18, 2026 and charged with three counts of first-degree murder, along with arson, robbery, and several additional offenses after being indicted by a Washington County grand jury. Police say Robey was arrested at a business in Hagerstown, where troopers also recovered an AR-style pistol during the operation. He is currently being held without bond.
The charges stem from the deaths of 31-year-old Brittany Ray, 36-year-old Harold Fliechman, and 25-year-old Brianna Mae Weishaar, all from Clear Spring. Investigators say emergency crews were first called to a fatal house fire in the 13-thousand block of National Pike shortly after 5 a.m. on November 18th, 2025. During the initial investigation, deputies with the Office of the State Fire Marshal discovered evidence of foul play, including K-9 alerts for accelerants and injuries to the victims that were not consistent with the fire.
The Maryland State Police Homicide Unit later took over the investigation. Authorities say the FBI and several partner agencies continue assisting in the case, and investigators believe additional arrests are still possible.
