The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office has arrested an Ashburn man in connection with a disturbing investigation involving crimes against children and animals.
Authorities say 37-year-old Jann Karlos Ramirez Ayala was taken into custody on June 1, 2026, following an investigation that began in April after allegations were reported to the sheriff’s office. Investigators say the case involves the production and possession of child pornography, along with animal abuse charges.
Ayala was transported to the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center, where he is being held without bond. Officials say the investigation is still active and there may be additional victims. Anyone with information is urged to contact law enforcement.
