Investigators say 29-year-old Tyree Winslow fired a shotgun at the front door of a home before breaking in through a window.Responding officers spotted Winslow at an upstairs window and ordered him to show his hands, but he refused. Police say gunfire was exchanged before a tactical team established a barricade. After several hours without contact, officers entered the home and found Winslow unresponsive with gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.Investigators later determined Winslow’s fatal injury was self-inflicted. Multiple firearms were recovered, and no one else was hurt. After reviewing the case, the Attorney General’s office concluded the officers did not commit a crime under Maryland law.
