A disturbance involving a firearm in Hagerstown has resulted in the arrest of two men and the seizure of two illegally modified handguns.
Police say officers were called to North Cannon Avenue at about 10 p.m. on June 15. Investigators determined two males had been in possession of a firearm, and one of the suspects returned to a residence in the 300 block of North Cannon Avenue.
The Washington County Special Response Team assisted in serving a search warrant at the home, where officers found a stolen Glock 28 with a Glock switch and a Glock 17 also equipped with a Glock switch. Both suspects were taken into custody without incident.
Seventeen-year-old Bernard Ballou was charged as an adult with assault, reckless endangerment and several gun offenses, while 23-year-old Diamante Caldwell faces multiple firearm charges.
