Hagerstown, MD (JK) – A Hagerstown man is facing multiple drug charges after authorities say Washington County Narcotics Task Force agents found a large quantity of fentanyl during a traffic stop.
According to the task force, agents conducted a traffic stop on Dual Highway on Friday, July 3. During the investigation, they determined the driver was allegedly concealing controlled dangerous substances on his person.
Authorities say agents recovered 288 gelatin capsules containing fentanyl with an approximate combined weight of 161 grams.
20-year-old Tarrin Vinson of Hagerstown was arrested and transported to the Washington County Detention Center.
He has been charged with:
Possession with intent to distribute a narcotic.
Distribution/possession with intent to distribute fentanyl.
Possession of a large amount of a controlled dangerous substance.
Possession of a controlled dangerous substance.
Resisting/interfering with arrest.
