Hagerstown, MD (JK) – One suspect has been arrested while another remains at large in connection with the July 5 homicide of a Hagerstown man.
The Hagerstown Police Department says 39-year-old Cierra Candice Bryant was arrested without incident in Hagerstown with assistance from the Washington County Special Response Team. She was served with an arrest warrant charging her with first-degree murder and related offenses and is being held without bond at the Washington County Detention Center.
Police continue to search for 38-year-old Michael Timothy Wilder of Hagerstown, who is also wanted on charges of first-degree murder and related offenses.
The victim has been identified as 30-year-old Dalonte Dametrius Young of Hagerstown.
Officers responded to the first block of East Antietam Street around 3:30 a.m. on July 5, where they found Young suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene, and the case was ruled a homicide.
Investigators continue to describe the shooting as an isolated incident with no ongoing threat to the public.
