Howard County, MD (JK) – Two Baltimore men are facing charges in Howard County after investigators linked them to a series of armed robberies targeting business owners during June.
Howard County police say 28-year-old Timothy Evans Jr. and 29-year-old Diamante Gilliam were connected to three armed robberies in Howard County and five more in Baltimore County.
Investigators say the suspects followed business owners to their homes before confronting them at gunpoint and stealing cash and personal belongings. One Ellicott City business owner was allegedly robbed twice, on June 8 and again on June 23. Police also say the pair committed another armed robbery in the West Friendship area on June 4.
Evans and Gilliam have each been charged in Howard County with three counts of armed robbery, assault, theft, and related offenses.
The men were previously arrested in connection with five armed robberies in Baltimore County’s Wilkens, Woodlawn, and Pikesville areas. Authorities say they are being held without bond as the investigation continues.
