Gaithersburg, MD (JK) – Montgomery County Police are asking anyone who may have been targeted by a suspected stalker at the Orchard Center shopping center in Silver Spring to contact investigators following the arrest of a 20-year-old Bowie man.
Detectives say Adrean Walls allegedly stalked a woman while she was shopping at Kohl’s in the 12000 block of Cherry Hill Road on July 10. During the incident, police say Walls committed an act of indecent exposure before following the woman through the parking lot in his vehicle, nearly striking two other vehicles.
According to investigators, Walls then followed the victim to her home and attempted to enter the residence through a window before fleeing after being confronted by a family member.
Police identified Walls as the suspect during their investigation and obtained an arrest warrant on July 16 charging him with stalking, attempted fourth-degree burglary and indecent exposure. He was arrested on July 21 and is being held without bond.
Detectives believe there may be additional victims who encountered Walls while shopping at the Orchard Center and are urging anyone who believes they may have been stalked or followed to contact the Montgomery County Police 3rd District Investigative Section or submit an anonymous tip through Crime Solvers.
