A 13-year-old boy was flown to Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore after being bitten by a beaver at Cunningham Falls State Park Sunday.
According to the Frederick Scanner Facebook page, rescue crews were called to the park around 10 a.m. after the boy was bitten on his chest, hands, and fingers. The boy was flown to the Baltimore hospital for treatment. Police searched the area for the beaver so the animal could be captured and tested for rabies.
