A lottery ticket theft in Monrovia has Maryland State Police asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect.
The suspect allegedly entered the 7-Eleven at 11801 Fingerboard Road around 5:45 Sunday evening and stole more than $1,000 worth of lottery games. Police describe the suspect as a Black male with a beard who was wearing an orange trucker hat, a white T-shirt over a white tank top, tan pants, and white shoes. He left the store on foot after parking his vehicle outside the camera’s view.
Investigators say he may have attempted similar thefts at other area gas stations. Anyone with information is asked to contact Maryland State Police in Frederick.
